About

Hi, I’m Julius!
I am currently working as a Doctoral Researcher at AIDOS Lab under the supervision of Dr. Bastian Rieck, which is part of the Institute of AI for Health at Helmholtz Munich. My focus of interest lies at the intersection of topology and machine learning and in applications of these methods in the field of biomedical data. I am also a PhD Candidate under the co-supervision of Prof. Ulrich Bauer at Technical University of Munich.
I studied mathematics at Ruprecht-Karls University in Heidelberg with the focus on Algebraic Topology for singular spaces (Generalized Intersection Homology Theories).
After my studies and before my current role I was working as a Data Analyst in the domain of mobility.
